67 ° Nov. 1, 1831 25 Elders did not have sufficient faith to receive a witness of Joseph's revelations. If any one of them can write one as good as Joseph's weakest, they are justified §; if not, they will be condemned for not bearing witness. They know there is nothing unrighteous in them, and since the Father is the source of righteousness, they must be true. If they will put themselves right with God, they will see him—spiritually, not naturally, for mortals must be quickened by the Spirit in order to endure His presence §. They aren't ready for that yet—or the ministering of angels—but they should be patient until they attain perfection and not turn back.

73 Jan. 10, 1832 29 New missionaries preach nearby until conference, which will give assignments. Joseph and Sidney resume translating until finished. May preach nearby.

Explanations of imagery in the book of Revelation. Elias to gather the Twelve Tribes will gather them and restore all things. 144,000 to be sealed by high priests. Millennia.

Literary and Mercantile Firms of Kirtland and Missouri to merge (1832). Substitution: people to unite for the Lord's storehouse (1835). Be equal in temporal and spiritual matters. Kingdom and unimaginable riches are promised. Jesus will descend with the church of the firstborn and this church will be taken up to the cloud (1832). Substitution: Jesus will descend, this church is the church of the firstborn, which will be taken up to the cloud (1835). 1835 additions: Kirtland and Zion are the city of Enoch, to endure forever. The Holy One established Adam-ondi-Ahman and appointed Prince Michael and gave him the keys of salvation under the Holy One. The Redeemer is the Son Ahman.

84 Sept. 22, 23, 1832 4 New Jerusalem and its temple, lineage of the Holy Priesthood, priesthood of Aaron, prerogatives of each priesthood and their appendages (offices), missions without purse or scrip, wash feet to condemn, reprove world and Lord will shake heaven and earth.
85 Nov. 27, 1832 Duties of the church clerk, historian, recorder. No inheritance for those who don't consecrate, no church membership. One mighty and strong will come to set the church in Zion in order and arrange inheritances. Anyone who tries to interfere, will be smitten and die. Those who are not enrolled in the book of the law of God will be treated like unbelievers.
86 Dec. 6, 1832 6 Parable of the wheat and the tares: Satan rules through Babylon, the whore. Apostles have spread the seed and it begins to grow but is still tender. Priesthood passes to one generation to the next through lineage. Priesthood must remain until all is restored. Saviors to Israel.
87 Dec. 25, 1832 South Carolina will rebel, war will commence, North and South will call on other nations until all are involved. Slaves will rebel. Catastrophic end of nations. Lord will punish the enemies of his Saints.

90 Mar. 8, 1833 84 Joseph's sins forgiven. Keys will never be taken. Gives oracles of God to church. Sidney and Frederick are to be his counselors, equal to Joseph in holding the keys. School of the Prophets to train missionaries. Complete translation of the Old Testament, then preside and study. Joseph to preside over Zion in the Lord's own due time.

92 Mar. 15, 1833 93 Frederick G. Williams is received into the United Order. He is to be an active member.
93 May 6, 1833 82 The obedient will see the Lord. The Lord is the light of every person born on earth. Father and Son are one. John understood. Fulness of his record to be given later. Lord is creator, but on earth did not have fulness of the Father. Grew from grace to grace; hence he was called the Son of God. Frederick, Sidney, Joseph, and Newel stand condemned for having failed to raise their families properly. Sidney is to go on his journey speedily, as are Joseph and Frederick on theirs.
94 May 6, 1833 83 Lot assignments around the House of the Lord (First Presidency offices, printing office, personal lots for building committee). Dimensions of the House of the Lord and the printing office, and their lot sizes.
95 June [1, 3], 1833 95 Many ordained, few are chosen. Call a solemn assembly. Build a house (dimensions) where the chosen can be endowed with power from on high. Contentions in the school of the prophets. Jesus Christ's titles.
96 June 4, 1833 96 Newel K. Whitney to supervise the use of the French farm, where the House of the Lord is to be built. He is to divide the land into lots for inheritances as divided by the council. John Johnson, is promised eternal life. He is to be ordained, pay mortgage.

Many humble in Zion. Parley to preside over school there. Build a [school] house in Zion according to the revealed pattern §. The Lord will come to it and the pure will see God §. Zion the pure in heart §. Vengeance comes speedily §. Offerings accepted §.
98 Aug. 6, 1833 85 Fear not, be patient. Uphold Constitutional laws. Constitution and Lord make you free. Renounce war and proclaim peace, and turn children to fathers, etc. §. Many in Kirtland need to repent §. Don't seek revenge, be patient § and bear three assaults. Then may respond §, but better if you don't. Forgive 70 times 7 §. Lord will avenge a hundred fold unless they repent §.

101 Dec. 16, 1833 97 Saints in Zion brought persecution on themselves by transgression, but the Lord will remember them. He will let his sword fall in their behalf. During millennium Satan will have no power. Those born during the millennium will not die but be changed in the twinkling of an eye. Continue to gather, purchase lands in Zion. No other gathering place. Appeal to the courts, governor, and president. If they won't restore lands, the Lord will. Don't sell property in Zion.
102 Feb. 17, 1834 5 High council: presidents and 12 counselors. Settle important difficulties. First presidents (First Presidency). Church president is president of council. Counselors casts lots for speaking order. Rights of accused. President renders decision. Council majority can override. Councils abroad. Appeals. No appeal from the traveling high council (the Twelve) except to general authorities. Council members.
103 Feb. 24, 1834 Saints driven out of Jackson county because of disobedience. Now Zion to be redeemed to power; one will be raised up like Moses to lead the people back.
104 Apr. 23, 1834 98 Lord breaks up United Order because of unfaithfulness. Stewardships for Sidney, Martin, Frederick, John Johnson, N. K. Whitney, and Joseph. Protocols for the treasury. Withdrawals by common consent. Pay all debts. Lord will deliver the brethren from debt.

137 Jan. 21, 1836 Vision of the Father and the Son, Adam, Abraham, Joseph's parents and his brother Alvin in the celestial kingdom. Children who die before 8 years and all others who would have received the gospel had they heard it before they died, inherit the celestial kingdom.
Sept. 4, 1837 John Whitmer and William W. Phelps are in transgression. They must repent or be removed out of their places.
