Lyman went to Charleston and continued laboring in the adjoining towns,

Heals Emily Harvey, a young woman who had been "sick
about 12 weeks and vomited much blood; and it was supposed by many that
she culd not live many days. She was desirous that I should pray for her
that she might be healed, at the same time covenanting before God to obey
the gospel." Orson blesses her "and she was immediately healed." |
