Thursday, June 3, 1831 is the first day of the conference according to the copy of the minutes in the Far West Record, the Painesville Telegraph of June 14, John Whitmer's history, and Zebedee Coltrin's 1880 autobiography.

Friday, June 4, 1831 is the first day of the conference according to Levi Hancock's diary, Ezra Booth's October 31 letter. John Whitmer's history gives both dates. Levi's journal, 89.

    The Far West Record for June 3 and 6 contains several errors that suggest the minutes were composed at a date far removed from the actual conference. I consider both dates uncertain.

John Whitmer's history follows the lists of ordinations to the High Priesthood by Joseph and Lyman with the following exceptions: reverses Thayer and Harris; adds Whitlock after Booth (as well as in Joseph's list above); omits Corrill through Scott; repeats Wakefield; reverses Joseph Smith Jr. and John Whitmer; and omits Sidney Rigdon. J. Whitmer, 70–71.
Bishop blesses Bishop Edward Partridge blesses "those who were ordained in the name of Christ according to commandment."
Bishop's assistants Lyman Wight ordains John Corrill and Isaac Morley assistants to Bishop Partridge.

Sidney Gilbert is instructed to be ordained an elder in D&C 53, revealed "shortly after" D&C 52 (June [6], 1831).

W. W. Phelps did not arrive in Kirtland until mid-June. He was baptized on the 16th. ¶ W. W. Phelps Letter 6 I have not ascertained when he was ordained an elder, but he was ordained to the High Priesthood on October 1. ¶ Minutes of October 1, 1831
