Currently, most of the content relates to the Ohio–Missouri period (1830–1838).
Beginning in February 2010, early Utah (1847–1918) content is being added, with an emphasis on Joseph F. Smith (1838–1918), his family, and associates.

Joseph Smith to Edward Partridge (May 2, 1833) Joseph acknowledges error in addressing other leaders in Zion instead of Edward Partridge. Consecration guidelines. Excommunicants retain their inheritances but not any portion set aside for the poor.
Oliver Cowdery to Joseph Smith (May 7, 1831) missionaries have made no progress with the Lamanites. Oliver and Zebidee Coltrin found some success in LaFayette County, Missouri. Navajoes west of Santa Fe.
Wilford Woodruff's Kirtland Endowment Prepares by reading world history. Theocracy to come. Water washing, perfumed washing, second day washings. Washes, perfumes others. Anointings by quorums.Vows to obtain a blessing from the Lord. Pray, fast, remain awake 24 hours.
Wilford Woodruff's Kirtland Endowment Blessing by Zebedee Coltrin in conjunction with Wilford's washing and anointing. Kings will tremble at his word and multitudes seek his counsel. Power to fly. Power over enemies, long life, convert many. Sons. Tread over the ashes of Jackson County enemies.

  D&C 62 On their way home from Independence, Joseph and his companions happen on John Murdock, Hyrum Smith, Harvey Whitlock, and David Whitmer in Chariton on August 13. They are to continue on to Zion and hold a meeting before returning to their labors.
D&C 81 Jesse Gause is called to be a high priest and counselor to Joseph Smith in presidency of the High Priesthood. The presidency holds the keys of the kingdom.

Emma to Joseph Smith (April 25, 1837) Emma replies to Joseph's letter written hiding in Palmyra.
Did Joseph Smith Plot to Murder Grandison Newell? Brigham Young's probably faulty recollection of riding out to meet Joseph as he was returning from Madison, Michigan in February 1837 is added. Brigham says he was prompted to intercept him after learning Solomon Denton had threatened to kill him.
Revelations of January 12, 1838 three revelations in response to widespread apostasy in Kirtland and "trial" of the First Presidency. Restrictions on how members of the presidency may be tried. First Presidency and their families to leave Kirtland as soon as possible. Faithful Saints are to move to Zion.
